Will Smith's 'Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air' Mansion Is Now Available To Rent On Airbnb

The sitcom's DJ Jazzy Jeff will provide a personal welcome at the mansion.

You've got to be at least a little old-schooled if you remember the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' mansion. Most of us who saw the sitcom back in the day wanted to stay at the place more than anything else. Looks like we are finally getting our chance to do so, 30 years after actor Will Smith first rolled up the driveway and entered through the doors of the iconic crib for the very first time. This grand pillared home, which appears in the opening credits of the famous sitcom, has been covered with bold graffiti art and timeless family portraits. Oh, and on a side note, there will also be Philly cheesesteaks served on silver platters for guests, Deadline reports.

or those who are unfamiliar with this TV show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air aired from September 1990 until May 1996 and was pretty much the show that launched Will Smith's career. Some other stars from the show include Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Janet Hubert, Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, and James Avery. Now with Airbnb renovating the home to suit guests, fans of the show can actually stay at the iconic mansion. The interior scenes of the show took place mostly on a Los Angeles sound-stage using pre-made sets. LA Times reports that this mansion, however, is located in the posh neighborhood of Brentwood, near Bel-Air and appears every time Will's best friend, Jazz (played by DJ Jazzy Jeff) was thrown out... aside from the opening credits of course. That entire scene where Jazz gets expelled from the property is a running gag in the show.

Anyway, enough about the show, let us check out the mansion itself. Thanks to Airbnb, you can now stay in a certain wing of the mansion that will have access to a posh bedroom and bathroom. Furthermore, there is an amazing outdoor pool and a poolside lounge area to relax in. In the evenings, you can visit the elegant dining room for a truly wonderful meal experience. Airbnb had announced that this stay will have 'royal overnight' guests being virtually welcomed into the mansion by DJ Jazzy Jeff himself. Then they'll get to "lace up a fresh pair of Air Jordans before shooting some b-ball in the bedroom, spin throwback classics all night on turntables and don a fly look from Will's closet, from argyle prepster to all-star Bel-Air athlete." For fans from all over the world who can't make to the mansion directly, DJ Jazzy Jeff will be hosting an online experience where "he'll teach guests how to spin and scratch like a hip-hop legend."

"Come spend some time with me in my home studio and let’s spin some vinyl together in honor of the good ‘ole days at the freshest crib in LA. If you're coming in hot with your own setup and looking to pick up some tricks, step up to the decks and I’ll show you what’s up. I’ll talk you through some of the routines that transformed my music career and teach you a thing or two about where I think the art of DJing is heading," the company writes on their website.

There are five Airbnb stays in the 'Bel-Air' mansion that is ready for October 2, October 5, October 8, October 11, and October 14 for just $30 a night. That's ridiculously cheap considering the luxury of the mansion. However, this will be available for groups of up to two Los Angeles County residents, who may request to book starting on September 29 at 11 am PDT on airbnb.com/fresh.
