The newest Gerber baby has been announced and she is not just one of the cutest babies you've seen but also has a story that is more than inspiring. Magnolia Earl, an adopted baby from Ross, California was adjudged the winner of the company's 10th Annual Photo Search, beating some 327,00 entries. Magnolia is now the newest Gerber Spokesbaby and will represent Gerber around the globe. Her family is proud of the beautiful girl's achievement. It just so happens that Magnolia celebrated her birthday on Saturday and the timing could not be more than perfect. The company posted a beautiful picture of Magnolia smiling on its Instagram page and congratulated her on the win. They were 'thrilled to welcome you to our growing Gerber family!'

The post also asked people to send 'Magnolia lots of love!' There is also a provision made by the company for people to meet the baby. In a statement from the baby food company, they mentioned that they had picked Magnolia out of the many beautiful babies because it "captured the hearts of the judging panel with her joyful expression, playful smile and warm, engaging gaze," reports PEOPLE. The statement further read that Magnolia and her family's story of adoption "unites all parents and drives everyone at Gerber: the promise to do anything for baby." The baby's mother, Courtney Earl, stated in a press released that Magnolia was adopted over a year ago.

"On May 9th, 2019 we received a call from the Adoption Agency that there was an expectant mom that was in labor and wanted to talk to us! We pulled off the highway, got a chance to connect with her amazing birth parents, and a few hours later, this sweet baby girl was born. Adoption is incredibly special to our family’s story. Winning Photo Search is an opportunity to tell Magnolia’s story and shed light on all the beautiful and different ways families are made," she added. Courtney's family includes her husband and two daughters—Whitney, 12, and Charlotte, 8, who was also adopted.  Kelly Schneider, a spokeswoman for the company said the contest to find the Gerber Baby had provided a sense of connection and some form of happiness at a time when coronavirus pandemic was wreaking havoc in the world.

Schneider said, "Photo Search is a moment of celebration that so many families look forward to each year. And this year – perhaps more than ever – the Gerber family is thrilled to celebrate with Magnolia and her family, and with families across America. The COVID-19 pandemic has made all of us feel more isolated than ever before, so finding new ways to feel connected has never mattered more.” As the winner of the contest, Magnolia will not only represent the company but was also awarded a number of gifts. This includes a $25,000 cash prize and a supply of Gerber Childrenswear worth $1,000 as well as $1,000 from Walmart and new phones. A year's worth of free unlimited service from Verizon was another gift.

Bill Partyka, president and CEO of Gerber said, “Our Gerber family of farmers, factory workers, employees and customers are all united in our pursuit to do everything and anything for baby. We believe every baby is a Gerber baby and standing behind our babies has never mattered more than it does now. At a time when we are yearning for connection and unity, Magnolia and her family remind us of the many things that bring us together: our desire to love and be loved, our need to find belonging, and our recognition that family goes way beyond biology." Picking a Gerber baby is a tradition that goes back to 1928, according to a Good Morning America report.
