Gerber announced the winner for its 2022 photo search contest on Wednesday as Isa Slish of Edmond, Oklahoma.
Say hello to the winner of Gerber Photo Search 2022! Adorable Isa Slish from Oklahoma will take on the role of Chief Growing Officer (CGO) on Gerber's Executive Committee which includes helping the next generation of babies grow and thrive. She will also serve as the 2022 Gerber Spokesbaby, claims the official website. Meredith, Isa's mom, always knew her 7-month-old "was special, and she has shown us that every day since she came into our lives. We found out when I was 18 weeks pregnant that Isa would be born without a femur or a fibula in her right leg. We hope Isa's story can bring more awareness for limb differences and create greater inclusion for children like her. Because, just like Isa, they too can be or do anything they want!"

The baby born with the rare congenital disorder is described as a "crazy happy baby" who loves attention, cuddles, and always seems to be laughing. According to her doting mom, she even laughs when the family blows raspberries on her tummy and when her older sister says "toeskis!" She also loves being taken outside by her dad and having the breeze against her face. “One of the things that has been so special for us, is that she was chosen for her wonderful personality, her smile, her cheeks, her giggles, but also as a baby who represents diversity,” mom Meredith told TODAY. “Isa is a strong, amazing little girl that loves to interact with the world around her and nothing will stop her. Her smile lights up the room and her laughter is irresistible,” her mom added.

According to PEOPLE, Ann Turner Cook was the original Gerber baby in the brand's iconic logo in 1928. In 2010, the brand launched Photo Search inspired by the "countless photos sent by parents who see their little ones in" Gerber's logo. Zane Kahin who scored the Gerber Baby title in 2021 and now baby Isa is following suit. Baby Isa won the title from 225,000 entries that were submitted to Gerber for this year’s search. Not only is the Slish family getting a cash prize of $25,000, they will also will receive a wardrobe from Gerber Childrenswear valued at $1,000 and a year’s supply of Gerber products. The company will match Isa's cash prize with a $25,000 donation to the nonprofit March of Dimes' maternal and infant health programs. "With this year's donation supporting March of Dimes' maternal and infant health programs, Gerber is furthering its longstanding partnership to give every family the best possible start," said Stacey D.
